Most of us have our fond memories of the sparrow in our childhood. We remember the sound of sparrow in the morning. Many of us must have seen its nest mostly on cupboards in our houses. But that familiar sound has become rare nowadays and hence the need to celebrate world sparrow day.
World Sparrow Day is celebrated since 2010. The decline of the sparrow population is an indicator of the continuous degradation the environment around us is facing. The increase in microwave pollution has adversely affected the population of sparrow. This has posed danger to the balance of ecosystem.
The sparrow is the ambassador of all birds. Its conservation will help save many other biodiversity. The theme of world sparrow day this year is I Love Sparrows.
